Axscend Portal - Introduction

Learn how to navigate the Axscend portal pages and get the most out of your experience.

Page Overview

No.	Description
	Logo If your company has set up a custom interface for the Portal you may see your company’s logo and colour theme on the Axscend Portal.
	User Name Displays the Username of the current user logged in to the Axscend Portal.
	Navigation Bar A row of buttons to navigate through the different pages of the Axscend Portal. Admin Menu You may also have an Admin button, which when clicked will produce a dropdown of Admin pages.
	Footer Shows the Axscend Portal version number on the left of the footer. Buttons to toggle the Notification Centre and Asset Cart open on the right of the footer
	Content Area Houses the content of the page, which changes depending on the current page selected. Similar to the webpage, there are universal elements amongst the content area.

	Tab Bar Allows for navigating within a page to different sections. The current section you are on is underlined in orange on the tab bar.
	Toolbar A grey bar that runs along the top of sections or pop-up windows that holds a number of action buttons.
	Editor Whenever you create or edit an entity, the editor displays a form of the fields associated with the entity. These can be filled or edited and saved when changes are complete.
	Sidebars Sidebars are regularly used to list information, for example displaying a list of Users on the Manage Users page.

Down below you will find a list of buttons anf their functions used in the portal.

	Add To add or create an entity. _{E.g. adding users, assets, POIs}
	Save To save changes to an entitiy. _{E.g. saving new users, assets, POIs}
	Undo To reset changes to an entity to it’s original state (before changes). _{E.g. resetting users, assets, POIs to their state before changes were made.}
	Delete To delete an entity. _{E.g. deleting a user, asset, POI}
	Edit To edit an entity _{E.g. editing users, assets, POIs}
	CSV To download a CSV report on the data listed. _{E.g. downloading a standard report in CSV format}
	PDF To download a CDF report on the data listed. _{E.g. downloading a standard report in PDF format}
	General Download To download a report on the data listed in the default format. _{E.g. downloading the results of Asset Search list.}
	File Upload To upload files or documents _{E.g. uploading a document to a document folder.}
	Menu Toggles a menu to open or closed. _{E.g. frequently seen on mobile view.}
	Filter Toggles a filter menu open or closed. _{E.g. filter menu button on the footer of the Fleet Grid.}
	Back To leave a page or process and return to the previous step.

	Refresh To reload data on a page or in a list.
	Chevrons To scroll through the tabs on a toolbar.
	Clone To clone the fields of an entity and use them to create a new entity. _{E.g. cloning the configuration of an asset to create a similar asset.}
