Asset Transfer
For the Asset Transfer request only the Details tab needs editing.
You can save the request to edit later, but until you submit the request no action will be taken.
You’re on the Fleet Desk page.
Click Add.
A pop-up window will open.
Select Transfer Asset.
Click Add.
The editor will open.
Enter the Asset Name.
Once you’ve typed in 3 letters suggested asset names come up.
Select the asset you want to transfer.
Select the group you want to transfer the asset to.
You’ll see a list with all the changes that are going to be made.
Fill out all relevant fields.
Click Submit.
Click Confirm.
The request has been submitted and its status changes to Awaiting Approval.
Asset fields that weren’t previously empty may now be empty if the receiving group doesn’t have access to them.
(i.e. the asset’s Operator Licence is not available to the group the asset will be transferred to so this is empty, but the Cost Centre is accessible by both groups so this field will remain.)
Inactive Submit Button
The Submit button will become active once all required fields have been filled out. Required fields are marked with a * and red.
No changes have been made until approval is granted.
