Hard Refresh your Browser

At times you may be required to refresh your browser, especially following system updates. This ensures the browser fetches the latest files, rather than using cached (stored) versions.

Below are 2 methods you can use to hard refresh a Google Chrome browser.

Option 1: Using the Keyboard

  1. Windows/Linux: Press Ctrl + Shift + R or Ctrl + F5.

  2. Mac: Press Command + Shift + R.

Option 2: Clear Cache via Chrome Settings

  1. Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

  2. Navigate to More tools > Clear browsing data.

  3. In the pop-up:

    • Select the "Cached images and files" checkbox.

    • Choose a time range (e.g., "All time").

  4. Click Clear data.

  5. Refresh the page.
