Approval Of The Asset Details
When a rental company has returned the vehicle details for your rental, you will receive an email. On the Fleet Desk page, you can view the full details of the vehicle and submit a vehicle creation request based on the information provided.
You already have submitted a Rental Request.
You’ve raccepted a rental quotation.
You’re on theFleet Desk page.
Click on the View Request button in the email or click on the quotation on the Fleet Desk page.
Go to the Rental Specification tab.
Find the Accepted Quotation.
Click on the Asset Details heading.
The section will expand.
Review the Asset Details.
In the Asset Specifications section, if all the required details were filled by the rental provider you will now see a Make Asset Creation Request button.
Click Make Asset Creation Request.
Fill out all required fields.
Click Go To Fleet Request.
The Asset Creation request will open.
Fill out the Asset Creation request.
Change to the Maintenance Schedule tab.
Create a Maintenance Schedule.
Click Save.
Once saved, you can now upload the relevant required documents alongside the maintenance schedules.
Click Add Document.
This will open your computer folders.
Select a file to upload.
Once you have selected your file, you should see your uploaded file alongside the maintenance schedule.
Repeat this process until all required documents have been uploaded.
The Submit button becomes active.
Click Submit.
The rental process has been completed.
Your side of the rental process on the portal is now complete. Once the Asset Creation request has been approved, the vehicle will be modelled by an Asset on the Portal.
The rental provider will deal with the delivery of your leased vehicle(s).
As per usual Asset Creation requests, this will send the Fleet Desk request to create the Asset on the Portal. Until approved, the asset will not appear on the portal.
