Trips
You’ll find the heading Trips in the Tracking section. Here you can view the Journey Playbacks of an asset and track them on the map.
🧭 Getting to Tracking
You’re on the Asset View
Click Trips in the left side bar.
The Tracking page will open.
📚 Trips Information
No | Description |

 | Journey Playback You can click on each trip bar in the Trip Breakdown section to playback the trip on the map. The trip bar will become blue to show it’s selected, and the route on the map will become highlighted. |
 | Details When you click on a trip bar in the Trip Breakdown section the Details section will display the collected data from this trip sent by the DCU and the EBS. E.g. Brake events, direction changes, and locations. |
 | Map The current location of the vehicle is displayed on the map as long as no journey is selected in the journey overview. The vehicle is represented by an icon on the map. When you click on a trip bar the route will be displayed on the map. |

Trip Bar Colours
Colour | Definition |
|---|---|
 Orange | Completed Trip - no complexities or issues |
 Green | Ongoing Trip - trip still in progress |
 Red | GPS Based Trip - no ignition detected |
 Purple Top | VCD Interventions |
 Yellow | Power Losses occurred during the trip |
 Blue | Selected - currently selected for playback |
Trip Breakdown Controls
At the bottom of the Journey Breakdown section is a toolbar. This contains useful functions to control the data you want to see, (from Left to Right) this includes:

| Map View Reset the map view. |
| CSV Download a CSV of the trips. |
| Settings menu The settings menu contains a list of toggleable features, such as showing the hour markers and numbers on each day's row. |
| Start Date and End Date Change the start and end date range (with < > chevrons to quickly skip through months). |
Viewing Details of a Trip
You can view a detailed breakdown of your journey, including all points of interest, heading changes, and brake events in the detail section. The map will show a visual representation of the journey.
You’re on the Asset View
You’re on the Trips section.
Click on a trip from the Journey Playback.
Click Reset Map to clear the breakdown
The details of the trip will be displayed in the Detail and Map section.
The selected trip bar will turn blue.
