Your company should have some common TSM Rules already set up, such as “DTC Status Change (anywhere)”.
If you do not have these, please contact Axscend, who can get these set up for you.
This guide will show you how to set up commonly requested TSM Rules for your company. These can then be associated with an action (such as emailing a group of users when the rule has been triggered).
Prerequesites
You must have a Manager or Admin role to create and update TSM Alerts.
You are on the Manage TSM page.
Each TSM Rule follows the same pattern:
Set up the rule
-
By clicking the + icon.
-
Enter your rule name
-
Enter your rule type
-
Other fields may now become available; otherwise, continue to ‘Select assets’
-
-
Continue to fill out the Rule criteria. You can use the common rule video How-To’s below to help you.
Select assets
You will need to select the assets you want to rule to affect.
-
Click the Assets tab.
-
Either select individually, by group, or company-wide.
-
-
Save the Rule by clicking the 💾 icon.
The rule will need to be linked to an Action for it to take effect.
New Defect Reported
Recieve a TSM Alert when assets have a new defect reported against them.
To set up this rule:
Asset Status Change Alerts
An asset has an overall health status composed of individual statuses (EBPMS, TPMS, DTCs etc). You can receive an alert when these statuses change, especially to a warning or critical state.
See more about Asset Statuses here.
Asset status change TSM alerts can also be combined with a POI rule, which means you would get the alerts only when an asset's status changes at a specific POI. This is useful when you are only interested in the assets within a specific depot or POI.
This can create the following TSM Alerts
-
TPMS (Tyre Pressure) Alerts - Status change alert when an asset's TPMS status changes.
-
EBS - Status change alert when an asset's EBS/DTC status changes.
-
EBPMS (Brake Performance) Alerts - Status change alert when an asset's EBPMS status changes.
-
Overweight/Overload Alerts - Status change alert when an asset's EBPMS status changes.
-
VOR Alerts - Status change alert when an asset's VOR status changes.
-
VOR Alerts - Status change alert when an asset's VOR status changes.
-
Maintenance Alerts - Status change alert when an asset's Maintenance status changes.
Usually, users are interested in when these statuses turn warning or critical.
Movement without EBS/power alerts
Detects when a trailer is in motion without the EBS cable connected (ISO7638 trips).
POI arrival/departure alerts
Alerts when a trailer with maintenance due/overdue or VOR status enters a depot. Romac Logistics requested this as a proactive maintenance trigger.
